Wally Hart/ Executive Director
Wally Hart, a native of the greater Cincinnati area, is deeply committed to the city's families and youth. He champions the idea that every student deserves safe and courageous creative spaces to explore their identity and aspirations.
With over 25 years immersed in hip hop culture, Wally has worn many hats: DJ, producer, rapper, researcher, writer, promoter, educator, mentor, and rap coach. His extensive experience in the field enriches his approach to community engagement and education.
Wally earned his PhD in Sociology from Texas A&M, where he also taught for five years. His scholarly work centers on systemic racism and the ways hip hop is produced, consumed, and discussed publicly.
A dedicated reader and writer, Wally is unwavering in his commitment to anti-racism, integrating these values into his professional and personal pursuits.
